Williams named director of nursing at Charles County Hospice
Kristin Williams is the newest member of the senior management team serving as director of nursing at the Hospice of Charles County. She has spent the last five years in various leadership roles such as a clinical nurse manager at the Armed Forces Retirement Home in Washington, D.C., and previously as a clinical coordinator at Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown, Pa. For four years, Williams served in the capacities of staff nurse and PRN for an adult psychiatric unit as well as a long-term acute care hospital. With a clinical competency that spans from LTACH, psychiatry, trauma/ortho/surgery and long-term care, Williams is driven by all aspects of patient and family experiences that lead toward the spectrum of advocacy, excellence and positive customer satisfaction, according to a press release. Williams earned her bachelors of science in nursing degree and associate degree in nursing from Mount Aloysius College in Cresson, Pa.
