Wil­liams named di­rec­tor of nurs­ing at Charles County Hos­pice

Kristin Wil­liams is the new­est mem­ber of the se­nior man­age­ment team serv­ing as di­rec­tor of nurs­ing at the Hos­pice of Charles County. She has spent the last five years in var­i­ous lead­er­ship roles such as a clin­i­cal nurse man­ager at the Armed Forces Re­tire­ment Home in Wash­ing­ton, D.C., and pre­vi­ously as a clin­i­cal co­or­di­na­tor at Me­mo­rial Med­i­cal Cen­ter in John­stown, Pa. For four years, Wil­liams served in the ca­pac­i­ties of staff nurse and PRN for an adult psy­chi­atric unit as well as a long-term acute care hospi­tal. With a clin­i­cal com­pe­tency that spans from LTACH, psy­chi­a­try, trauma/or­tho/surgery and long-term care, Wil­liams is driven by all as­pects of pa­tient and fam­ily ex­pe­ri­ences that lead to­ward the spec­trum of ad­vo­cacy, ex­cel­lence and pos­i­tive cus­tomer sat­is­fac­tion, ac­cord­ing to a press re­lease. Wil­liams earned her bach­e­lors of science in nurs­ing de­gree and as­so­ciate de­gree in nurs­ing from Mount Aloy­sius Col­lege in Cres­son, Pa.
