Bill Thrift, 64, of The Vil­lages, FL (for­merly of Wal­dorf, MD) passed away on June 26, 2017. He worked for UPS and then re­tired from the U.S. Naval Academy 2013. He en­joyed coach­ing and um­pir­ing girl’s soft­ball and served as pres­i­dent of the Wal­dorf Na­tional Lit­tle League.

He is sur­vived by his wife, Kathy; daugh­ters: Carrie (James); Danielle (Lee) Thrift; broth­ers: Ray (Car­men) Thrift; John (Sheila) Thrift; and Ken (Shar­lene) Monier.

A Cel­e­bra­tion of Life will be held Sun­day, Au­gust 13th, 2-4 p.m., at the Bryans Road VFD, 3099 Livingston Road, Bryans Road, MD.
