Christ Church Way­side will host a carry-out bar­be­cue lunch and bake sale noon-4 p.m. Aug. 12 at the church, 13050 Rock Point Road, New­burg. St. Paul’s Church Piney Parish will hold the 123rd an­nual La­bor Day Sup­per noon-5 p.m. Mon­day, Sept. 4 at 4535 Piney Church Road, Wal­dorf.
