Su­san Le­gag­neux, 67, of White Plains, MD, died Septem­ber 23, 2018. Wife of Michael H. Le­gag­neux and mother of Michael H. Le­gag­neux Jr.

Friends re­ceived Mon­day, Oc­to­ber 1, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. with Wake Ser­vice at 7 p.m. at Ray­mond Fu­neral Chapel (La Plata, MD). Mass of Chris­tian Burial on Tues­day, Oc­to­ber 2, 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church (Pom­fret, MD) with In­ter­ment to fol­low at 12:30 p.m. at Trin­ity Memo­rial Gar­dens (Wal­dorf, MD).

Memo­rial con­tri­bu­tions are asked to Hu­mane So­ci­ety of Charles County or Amer­i­can Can­cer So­ci­ety.

Dag­mar Maxwell

Dag­mar Maxwell, 74, of Hugh­esville, MD passed away at Fen­wick Land­ing As­sisted Liv­ing, in Wal­dorf, MD, on Mon­day, Septem­ber 17, 2018.

Dag­mar was born on Sept. 29, 1943 to the late Al­fred Hil­len­brandt and Helga Emma Marie Pe­tersen, in Ber­lin, Ger­many. After her fa­ther was killed in WWII, she was raised by her mother and her adop­tive fa­ther, the late Melvin Gior­dano.

Dag­mar was an ad­min­is­tra­tive as­sis­tant for the U.S. Cen­sus Bureau, un­til she re­tired to Flor­ida in 1997. She en­joyed knit­ting and cross­word puz­zles, and was once a mem­ber of the Red Hat So­ci­ety.

In ad­di­tion to her par­ents, Dag­mar was pre­de­ceased by her hus­band, Pren­tice C. Maxwell, in March of 2017. She is sur­vived by her daugh­ter, Tracy Har­tung and hus­band Craig, of Hugh­esville, MD; her son, Sean Maxwell and wife Lisa, of Bowie, MD; and five grand­chil­dren: Jor­dan Har­tung, Ryan Maxwell, Kyle Maxwell, Alex Maxwell, and Josh Maxwell.

Fam­ily will re­ceive friends for a Life Cel­e­bra­tion Memo­rial Gath­er­ing on Sun­day, Septem­ber 30, from 2-4 p.m. with a prayer ser­vice at 4 p.m. at Brins­field Fu­neral Home, 30195 Three Notch Road, Char­lotte Hall, MD 20622.

In­urn­ment will Na­tional at a later date.

David Michael Schick

David “Mike” Michael Schick, 55, of Wal­dorf, MD passed away on Septem­ber 25, 2018.

Mike was born on Oct. 12, 1962 in Burlingame, CA. He worked as a Navy Con­tracted R.O.V. Op­er­a­tor. Mike is pre­ceded in death by his fa­ther, Wal­ter Chap­man. Mike is sur­vived by his mother, Wanda Chap­man, of Piney Flatts, TN; two chil­dren: Chris Schick, of Me­chan­icsville, MD; Shan­non Smith (Matthew), of De­catur, MS; three grand­chil­dren: Ma­son, Carter, Lore­lai; brother, Peter Schick (Tr­ish), of Piney Flatts, TN; and his sig­nif­i­cant other, Janet Trexler.
