Susan Legagneux, 67, of White Plains, MD, died September 23, 2018. Wife of Michael H. Legagneux and mother of Michael H. Legagneux Jr.
Friends received Monday, October 1, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. with Wake Service at 7 p.m. at Raymond Funeral Chapel (La Plata, MD). Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, October 2, 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church (Pomfret, MD) with Interment to follow at 12:30 p.m. at Trinity Memorial Gardens (Waldorf, MD).

Dagmar Maxwell, 74, of Hughesville, MD passed away at Fenwick Landing Assisted Living, in Waldorf, MD, on Monday, September 17, 2018.
Dagmar was born on Sept. 29, 1943 to the late Alfred Hillenbrandt and Helga Emma Marie Petersen, in Berlin, Germany. After her father was killed in WWII, she was raised by her mother and her adoptive father, the late Melvin Giordano.
Dagmar was an administrative assistant for the U.S. Census Bureau, until she retired to Florida in 1997. She enjoyed knitting and crossword puzzles, and was once a member of the Red Hat Society.
In addition to her parents, Dagmar was predeceased by her husband, Prentice C. Maxwell, in March of 2017. She is survived by her daughter, Tracy Hartung and husband Craig, of Hughesville, MD; her son, Sean Maxwell and wife Lisa, of Bowie, MD; and five grandchildren: Jordan Hartung, Ryan Maxwell, Kyle Maxwell, Alex Maxwell, and Josh Maxwell.
Family will receive friends for a Life Celebration Memorial Gathering on Sunday, September 30, from 2-4 p.m. with a prayer service at 4 p.m. at Brinsfield Funeral Home, 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622.
Inurnment will National at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Charles County, 2505 Davis Road, Waldorf, MD 20603.

David “Mike” Michael Schick, 55, of Waldorf, MD passed away on September 25, 2018.
Mike was born on Oct. 12, 1962 in Burlingame, CA. He worked as a Navy Contracted R.O.V. Operator. Mike is preceded in death by his father, Walter Chapman. Mike is survived by his mother, Wanda Chapman, of Piney Flatts, TN; two children: Chris Schick, of Mechanicsville, MD; Shannon Smith (Matthew), of Decatur, MS; three grandchildren: Mason, Carter, Lorelai; brother, Peter Schick (Trish), of Piney Flatts, TN; and his significant other, Janet Trexler.
