Y-S Azzurri club seeks assistance

The Yuba-Sutter Azzurri Soccer Club needs financial help to offset fees incurred after the recent area flooding caused by the Oroville Dam spillway situation.

The non-profit club, comprised of over 300 competitive soccer players from Yuba, Sutter, and Colusa counties, normally uses the Wheeler Soccer Complex fields for practice and games.

Due to the flooding, this year it will use facilities of the YCUSD, YCHS and the Yuba Community College District at a cost beyond what the Y-S Azzuri normally has to absorb.
