May 5, 1947 Aug. 18, 2016 Saimon Rehobson, 69, of Neosho, Mo., died Thursday, Aug. 18, 2016, at his residence after a long battle with diabetes. He was born May 5, 1947, in Pohnpei, Micronesia, the son of the late Inderehiel Rehobson and Liwiana Alik.

He was raised in Pohnpei and attended college in Guam. He worked in Saipan for several years as a financial consultant for the department of education. He moved to Goodman, Mo., in 1996. He was a member of the First Micronesia­n Church of Christ in Goodman.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Pihner Rehobson, in 2001; and several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his two children, Rosina Benjamin and husband Peter Kamihara, and Kurt Rehobson and wife Grace Lynn Edmond, all of Neosho; four grandchild­ren; three brothers; four sisters; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services are 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, 2016, at the First Micronesia­n Church of Christ in Goodman. Burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. in the Howard Cemetery in Goodman.
