Museum Speaker Series Set Sept. 17
The Speaker Series of the McDonald County Historical Society continues this Sunday, Sept. 17, at 2 p.m. at the Pineville Community Center at 602 Jesse James Road.
The cast and director of the highly successful play, “Snake County Stories,” will be there and some scenes from the play will be performed. You will have an opportunity to ask questions of the actors. Light refreshments will be served.
A brief business meeting will be held with an opportunity to join as a volunteer and buy your 2018 Historical Photo Calendar.
The Historical Society was organized in order to collect, preserve and celebrate the rich and unique history of McDonald County.
The highly praised Historic Museum at the Old County Courthouse in Pineville is open Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The speaker series is free and open to the public.
