New­ton-McDon­ald County Cat­tle­men’s As­so­ci­a­tion To Meet

The Septem­ber meet­ing of the New­ton McDon­ald County Cat­tle­men’s As­so­ci­a­tion is set for 6:30 p.m. Tues­day, Sept. 19, in room 103 of the Wil­liam’s Agri­cul­ture Build­ing at Crow­der Col­lege.

The meet­ing will fea­ture a meal from the As­so­ci­a­tion’s Chili Cook-off com­pe­ti­tion. Any mem­ber com­pet­ing should bring their en­try to room 103 by 6:15 p.m., where it will be judged by Ag­gie Club mem­bers.

The Septem­ber meet­ing is be­ing spon­sored by Cir­cle A An­gus of Ibe­ria, Mo., with Nick Ham­mett pre­sent­ing the lat­est from this premier program. The Ag­gies will also be pre­sent­ing a trav­el­ogue out­lin­ing their vis­its in re­cent months to farm and agri­cul­ture en­ter­prises in Texas and Hawaii.

The As­so­ci­a­tion in­vites any­one in­ter­ested in agri­cul­ture top­ics to at­tend for the chili and the in­ter­est­ing pre­sen­ta­tions.
