‘The Farm Hands’ Come To An­der­son And Rocky Com­fort

The Farm Hands Quar­tet will be per­form­ing for the com­mu­ni­ties of Rocky Com­fort and An­der­son. Ev­ery­one is wel­come to at­tend the blue­grass gospel event at the fol­low­ing lo­ca­tions:

The first ap­pear­ance of the band will be at 6 p.m. Satur­day, Sept. 1, at Beth­le­hem Free Will Bap­tist Church, lo­cated at 20630 E. High­way 76 in Rocky Com­fort. If you saw them last year, you’ll surely want to see them again. The Farm Hands is an award-win­ning band based out of Nashville, Tenn., con­sist­ing of in­dus­try vet­er­ans Tim Graves, Daryl Mosley, Keith Tew and Don Hill. Among the four mem­bers are a Grammy Award win­ner, a mem­ber of the Preser­va­tion Hall of Greats, four Song of the Year award win­ners, 10-time Dobro Player of the Year win­ner, Song­writer of the Year win­ner, and two long­time vet­er­ans of the Grand Ole Opry stage. In ad­di­tion, as a band they have been hon­ored with awards for Gospel Band of the Year, En­ter­tain­ing Band of the Year, Vo­cal Group of the Year and Al­bum of the Year. They put on a very en­ter­tain­ing, funny and in­spir­ing pro­gram ap­pro­pri­ate for all ages.

There is no ad­mis­sion charge for ei­ther per­for­mance. A free-will of­fer­ing will be gladly ac­cepted. CDs and DVDs will be avail­able.
