The Mus­tang Play­ers of McDon­ald County High School will present an old-fash­ioned melo­drama and olio at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. Satur­day.

The Mus­tang Play­ers of McDon­ald County High School will present an old-fash­ioned melo­drama and olio on Satur­day, Oct. 6, at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tick­ets are $6 for show only, and the deluxe ticket is $8 and in­cludes the show, drink, pop­corn and fake toma­toes to throw at the das­tardly vil­lain. The play is di­rected by Wy­att Hester.

The olio will fea­ture short com­edy scenes, and the melo­drama, “The Fallen Saved,” is a com­edy rem­i­nis­cent of the han­dle­bar mus­tache vil­lain who is set on get­ting the poor widow’s prop­erty, but all is saved in the nick of time by the du­ti­ful hero.

The Oct. 6 melo­drama cast in­cludes Wil­liam Hawkins, Tobin Bow­man, Caitlin Lee, Pay­ton Hat­field, Jeff Brewer, Ja­cob Ortega, Kiara Man­ion, Cheyenne McCormick, Justin Wo­mack, Se­bas­tian Gill, Jonathan How­er­ton, Jamie Mal­one, Raign Meyer, Ja­cob Pagel, Neo Patrick and Kathryn Scott.
