PCC’s Hula Tribute To Aunty Sally Is Jan. 16
The 20th annual Moanikala Hula Festival is planned for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 16 at Polynesian Cultural Center featuring local and international halau in a tribute to PCC’s first kumu hula, the late Aunty Sally Wood Nalua‘i.
Nalua‘i taught hula at PCC for nearly 49 years. The show also highlights a special guest halau from Japan this year.
Events will be held in the Pacific Theater, where admission is $10 and $6. Tickets also can be used for free admission to the North Shore cultural park’s six island villages after the festival, or for upgraded tickets to the new dinner show package, Ha: Breath of Life.
