The newly formed Wahi­awa His­tor­i­cal So­ci­ety plans to re­vive the Wahi­awa Pineap­ple Fes­ti­val on May 8 with plenty of in­ter­est­ing ex­hibits and events in store for res­i­dents. The group also wants to talk to as many Leile­hua High School grad­u­ates as it can to record oral his­to­ries for its com­mu­nity archives.
