Lions Club Scrambling With Breakfast Tickets
Mililani Lions Club will return to the kitchen March 14 to cook up morning menu favorites for its annual benefit breakfast, serving customers from 6 to 11 a.m. in the Mililani High School cafeteria.
On the menu (so far) are a heaping helping of scrambled eggs, Portuguese sausage, rice, blueberry muffin, fresh pineapple, coffee and fruit punch — all for $6 (eat in or take out).
Proceeds go toward helping “The Pride Of Mililani” put on club programs throughout the year, including school improvements, scholarships, poster contests, a JPO luncheon and sight/hearing screenings.
“We will again be collect- ing used eyeglasses and canned goods this year,” said club president Mike Lau. “If anyone in the community is interested in joining the Mililani Lions Club, we will have brochures available showing what we do.”
Tickets to the breakfast, Lau added, will be sold March 3-13 at Mililani Town Center’s mall entrance.
