Lions Club Scram­bling With Break­fast Tick­ets

Mililani Lions Club will re­turn to the kitchen March 14 to cook up morn­ing menu fa­vorites for its an­nual ben­e­fit break­fast, serv­ing cus­tomers from 6 to 11 a.m. in the Mililani High School cafe­te­ria.

On the menu (so far) are a heap­ing help­ing of scram­bled eggs, Por­tuguese sausage, rice, blue­berry muf­fin, fresh pineap­ple, cof­fee and fruit punch — all for $6 (eat in or take out).

Pro­ceeds go to­ward help­ing “The Pride Of Mililani” put on club pro­grams through­out the year, in­clud­ing school im­prove­ments, schol­ar­ships, poster con­tests, a JPO lun­cheon and sight/hear­ing screen­ings.

“We will again be col­lect- ing used eye­glasses and canned goods this year,” said club pres­i­dent Mike Lau. “If any­one in the com­mu­nity is in­ter­ested in join­ing the Mililani Lions Club, we will have brochures avail­able show­ing what we do.”

Tick­ets to the break­fast, Lau added, will be sold March 3-13 at Mililani Town Cen­ter’s mall en­trance.
