Mililani Li­brary is mark­ing its 26th an­niver­sary with four days of en­ter­tain­ment, ed­i­fi­ca­tion and — what else? — a Hal­loween cos­tume party, all free to the pub­lic.

• Start­ing Mon­day (Oct. 25), award-win­ning mu­si­cian John Keawe will per­form “A Trib­ute to Slack Key” at 6:30 p.m.

• On Tues­day, sto­ry­teller Nyla Fu­jii Babb will present “Sto­ries with Aunty Nyla” at 10:30 a.m.

• On Wed­nes­day, Bar­bara Chung Ho dis­cusses “Folk Arts of China and Asia” and demon­strates the art of Chi­nese knot­ting at 5:30 p.m. Ad­vanced reg­is­tra­tion is re­quired.

• Satur­day from 10:30 a.m. to noon is the li­brary’s Hal­loween goodie bag give­away for keiki up to 11 years old. Come dressed in cos­tume and join the fun and fes­tiv­i­ties.

Mililani High stu­dent Char­ity Culp is ser­e­naded by ‘Lin­coln Heights’ star Mis­hon dur­ing an In School Jam ses­sion Oct. 15. The event is a trav­el­ing learn­ing ex­pe­ri­ence that brings var­i­ous groups and celebri­ties to schools with the mis­sion to en­cour­age youths to make wise de­ci­sions and fol­low their dreams.
