Neigh­bor­hood Bal­lots Due May 17

The Neigh­bor­hood Com­mis­sion has mailed pass­codes to 180,000 el­i­gi­ble vot­ers who may cast bal­lots from their own com­put­ers or at city venues for con­tested seats on the 2013-2015 neigh­bor­hood boards.

Vot­ing pe­riod has be­gun and ends May 17, and sev­eral boards have con­tested races, ac­cord­ing to Bryan Mick of the com­mis­sion of­fice.

Those with­out com­put­ers can vote on­line at Kapolei Hale, or on the sec­ond floor of the Mis­sion Me­mo­rial Build­ing next to Honolulu Hale, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. week­days.

Res­i­dents also can vote by phone us­ing a unique pass­code (con­tained in the mail­ings).
