Aina Haina skate­boarder makes the fi­nals at West Coast skate-off

A n 11-year-old from Aina Haina has re­turned for the an­nual King of the Groms West Coast skate­board qual­i­fier in Cal­i­for­nia, where he placed in three events to make the fi­nals for next month.

Heimana Reynolds placed sec­ond in Ex­pert Bowl, third in In­ter­me­di­ate Street and sev­enth in Ex­pert Mini ramp. The com­pe­ti­tion drew skate­board­ers from as far as Canada, Florida and of course Hawaii … Army Na­tional Guard Pvt.

Chang­bum Kang (Kaiser 2009) has grad­u­ated from ba­sic train­ing at Fort Jack­son, S.C. … All you folks in East Oahu should be well-ad­justed, happy peo­ple be­cause the leaders of the Hawaii Psy­cho­log­i­cal As­so­ci­a­tion live among you.
