Wal­dorf Sets ‘Tastes And Trea­sures’ Ben­e­fit

Honolulu Wal­dorf School has its an­nual gala, Tastes & Trea­sures, at 5:30 p.m. March 27 at The Pa­cific Club on the theme “the as­cend­ing spi­ral of knowl­edge,” which is the core of Wal­dorf ed­u­ca­tion.

“Funds raised will ben­e­fit the cur­rent school year’s op­er­at­ing bud­get to sup­port pro­grams such as tu­ition as­sis­tance, drama, mu­sic, art, ath­let­ics and pro­fes­sional de­vel­op­ment,” said event co-chair Sonni Au.

Founded in 1961, HWS op­er­ates in­de­pen­dent co­ed­u­ca­tional cam­puses in Niu Val­ley and Aina Haina, serv­ing more than 320 chil­dren from early child­hood through high school.

“We are grate­ful for all of the sup­port we re­ceive from the com­mu­nity and con­tinue to marvel at the gen­eros­ity and aloha spirit of the peo­ple and busi­nesses of Hawaii,” Au added.
