Grant To Aid Clinic’s Smok­ers

PATH Clinic to es­tab­lish its Smoke Free Pro­gram.

“Re­search has shown that smok­ing by moth­ers may ad­versely af­fect preg­nancy and this grant will en­able us to ex­pand our fo­cus and in­ten­sify our ef­forts.”

Founded in 2007, the clinic has cared for more than 200 women. Its mis­sion is to pro­vide com­pre­hen­sive peri­na­tal clin­i­cal and so­cial ser­vices to women with past or present sub­stance abuse is­sues, while in a com­fort­able set­ting free of judg­ment and sup­port­ive of each woman’s unique path from preg­nancy to ca­pa­ble par­ent.

The in­de­pen­dent clinic is lo­cated on the grounds of the Sal­va­tion Army Fam­ily Treat­ment Ser­vices cam­pus at 845 22nd Ave.
