Panel Has Advice On Managing Arthritis
A free public forum on “Exercise and Arthritis” will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 12 at Kahala Nui, featuring a panel of local experts, an exercise session and lunch.
Rheumatologist David John of The Queen’s Medical Center, Queen’s physical therapist Leslie Mukogawa and Clint Evans, a cer t i f i ed Arthritis Foundation instructor, will lead a discussion of rheumatoid arthritis, its treat- ment options and what are the best exercises for it as well as joint protection.
The forum is co-spons ored by t he Ar t hr i t i s Foundation, s t ate Rep. Bar bara Marumoto and Women in Government. Participants must respond by Jan. 7 to 596-2900.
