• GRIEF WORK­SHOP St. Fran­cis Hospice con­ducts a free grief work­shop from 1 to 3 p.m. March 30 at Hawaii Med­i­cal Cen­ter West’s Clin­i­cal Ser­vice Cen­ter in Ewa Beach. Call 547-8147.

• DANCE SIGNUPS The Pearl­ridge chap­ter of Hawaii Ball­room Dance As­so­ci­a­tion reg­is­ters stu­dents at 7 p.m. March 30 and April 6, 13 and 20 in Waimalu Ele­men­tary’s cafe­te­ria for its first quar­ter Amer­i­can So­cial classes in bolero, West Coast swing and tango. • RAIL WORK­SHOP The city presents a de­sign work­shop on its Rail Tran­sit Project from 6:30 to 9 p.m. March 30 at High­lands In­ter­me­di­ate School to dis­cuss the Pearl High­lands sta­tion (along Kame­hameha High­way across from Sam’s Club.) It will have a 1,600-- stall park-and-ride and a ded­i­cated off-ramp from H-2. Call 566-2299.

• RE­CY­CLING DIS­PLAY Kapolei Li­brary houses the city’s ed­u­ca­tional re­cy­cling dis­play dur­ing reg­u­lar li­brary hours through March 31 in the up­stairs lobby. Call 6937050.

• MIL­I­TARY NIGHT Waipahu High School hosts an All Academy and Mil­i­tary Schol­ar­ship Night from 6 to 9 p.m. March 31 for par­ents, stu­dents and school coun­selors. U.S. Sen. Dan Inouye will at­tend along with ROTC of­fi­cers and more. Call 4888479.
