Thursday mornings, and also Monday and Tuesday nights. And we hosted a few tournaments,” said Painter, who conducted the junior bowling program when the facility was under previous ownership.

“The biggest difference in the look of the place is everything is just clean. We repaired the machines and have it all maintained.”

The new-and-improved center also is home to the Prop Stop Restaurant, with a variety of plate lunches and daily specials.

For good food or a friendly game of pin knocking, Barbers Point Bowling is the place to go. It’s located in Building 1831 on Saratoga Avenue.
