After being closed for several months for renovations, two Tesoro retail stations, including the Aiea Heights location, reopen this month.

The station’s renovations come after Hawaii Independent Energy acquired Tesoro retail stores in September 2013. “Many of our loyal customers have been wondering if our station closures were temporary or permanent,” said Eric Lee, general manager of HIE Retail. “We’ve been making infrastructure improvements that may not be readily noticeable to our customers, but these upgrades will help to better serve our customers and position our stations in the long term. Our grand reopenings are our way of letting everyone know we’re here to stay and are open for business.”

In addition to the retail stations, Hawaii Independent Energy also has acquired two oil refineries in Kapolei.
