Grimaldi’s Pizzeria will open Nov. 10 at The Corners
Grimaldi’s Pizzeria will open its first Wisconsin restaurant Nov. 10 at The Corners of Brookfield retail-residential development, the company said Wednesday.
The restaurant will feature more than 4,700 square feet of indoor and outdoor space, including outdoor seating for 45 and a main dining room accommodating 102 patrons.
Grimaldi’s says it features authentic New Yorkstyle menu offerings. Among them are handcrafted coal-fired brick oven pizzas, calzones and antipasto, as well as a variety of salads and New York-style cheesecakes and desserts made inhouse daily, the company said. Grimaldi’s includes a full bar serving specialty cocktails, craft beers and
wine, including its signature Mille Gradi red blend, produced by Rocca delle Macìe winery in Tuscany, Italy.
The restaurant will have Grimaldi’s 25-ton coal-burning oven, which is heated by 100 pounds of coal per day at a temperature of up to 1,200 degrees, delivering a unique, smoky-flavored thin crust, the company said.
“We are thrilled to be expanding to our 16th state and bringing our distinctive and truly authentic pizza to Wisconsin,” Joey Ciolli, chief executive officer of Grimaldi’s, said in a statement.
Grimaldi’s will be open Sunday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., the company said.
