Great ideas, unlikely to happen

Milwaukee Journal Sentinel - - Opinions -

This is regarding Todd Berry’s editorial in the Jan. 7 paper, for a better and more fair government (“How can we made state government work again?”).

I, and probably most of our city, would agree with his suggestions on how to make it better. To this I say, “lots of luck,” because our government representatives, who need to make the changes, are the same ones who set them up in the first place.

Unless enough of us make our desires known, and do it loudly enough, we can just continue to live with the self-interested politicians we have now.

So, are we ready for the next round of elections?
