WATER: Wheeler to become CEO at A.O. Smith
Kevin Wheeler will transition from chief operating officer to chief executive of Milwaukee water technology company A.O. Smith in September, the company said in a statement Wednesday. He will also continue to serve as president. Current CEO Ajita Rajendra will become executive chairman. Wheeler has held several senior leadership positions, overseeing national and international water heating operations and sales, since he joined A.O. Smith in 1994. Rajendra joined the company in 2005 and has been CEO since 2013.
