TRUE TO HER SCHOOL

I am writing to express my dismay and displeasure at the way my alma mater, Milwaukee High School of the Arts, was treated by your magazine in a recent article [“Launch Pad,” March]. [The author’s] disparaging remarks about our academic program were unfair and uninformed. MHSA’s supposedly “light” academic program has produced many academic success stories. I am currently on the verge of completing my doctorate in clinical psychology, and recently obtained an appointment as a clinical fellow in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. I proudly give credit to MHSA for my success.
