Do you have a collection of standard and metric hex wrenches in your workshop? It’s frustrating to look for a certain size in the middle of a build, so here’s a cheap and easy fix. Collect all your common-size hex wrenches and fill matching holes in a scrap piece of lumber, then add lengths of red and green heat-shrink tubing to each wrench. Any color will do, but I use green for standard SAE sizes and red for metric. To make it even easier to find the right-size wrench, write its size on the shrink tubing before shrinking it down. Neat and organized. John D’Anna, New Fairfield, Connecticut
