The Van­cou­ver Olympics may be his­tory, but some mem­bers of the U.S. team will still be ap­pear­ing on TV screens as part of an HHS cam­paign against child­hood obe­sity.

Videos fea­tur­ing fig­ure-skat­ing medal­ist Michelle Kwan, 2010 skele­ton racer Noelle Pikus-Pace, 2010 Olympic snow­boarder Louie Vito and oth­ers were shot dur­ing the Win­ter Games, with the ath­letes of­fer­ing kids ad­vice on how to keep healthy. The Let’s Move cam­paign is a spe­cial project of first lady Michelle Obama.

“Amer­ica’s Olympians are some of the finest ath­letes in the world and our coun­try’s best spokes­peo­ple on be­ing phys­i­cally ac­tive,” HHS Sec­re­tary Kath­leen Se­be­lius says. “We are pleased that th­ese in­spir­ing Olympians are join­ing the first lady’s Let’s Move ef­fort to tackle this health epi­demic. They can help teach kids that eat­ing right and ex­er­cis­ing reg­u­larly is the way to get mov­ing to­ward a health­ier life.”
