Best Places to Work in Healthcare
third annual Best Places to Work in Healthcare recognition program is now under way. The program, co-sponsored by the Studer Group, honors workplaces in healthcare that enable employees to perform at their optimum level to provide patients and customers with the best possible care and services.
On behalf of the Best Companies Group, a Harrisburg, Pa.-based firm that conducts regional “best places to work” programs around the country, will conduct two surveys of healthcare companies that volunteer to participate in the program. The first is a questionnaire for a participating employer. The second is a satisfaction survey of a company’s employees. Participation is open to all healthcare organizations and companies in all sectors of the industry with a minimum of 25 fulltime employees. Participation is free to organizations and companies that complete the process electronically. There is a fee for those that submit on paper.
Healthcare organizations and companies that participate in the program will receive a free participation report. Participants also will be able to purchase a full assessment feedback report from the Best Companies Group.
The deadline to register for the 2010 program is June 18.
In September, will announce the names of the 100 best places to work in healthcare. The 100 best places to work in healthcare will be honored at a dinner in Dallas on Oct. 18. And, the recipients will be ranked from one to 100 in a special supplement to be published Oct. 25. The supplement also will recognize the best places to work by three industry segments: providers, suppliers and payers. For more information on
