I f Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) and Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-Ill.) were run­ning an in­surance com­pany, they would soon be out of busi­ness (“Law­mak­ers vow to monitor in­sur­ers,” Daily Dose, April 30). Un­for­tu­nately, they are at­tempt­ing to leg­is­late them­selves into just that, and the fail­ing in­surer will soon be the fed­eral govern­ment. It will give whole new mean­ing to “too big to fail.” Har­ri­ett Flow­ers
