Well, it’s official. After reading all of the latest articles in recent healthcare magazines, I can see that Americans will not have to worry about the cost of healthcare in the future. After years of poorly managed hospitals heading down the wrong track, the federal government is going to fix everything by eliminating fraud, reducing chronic illnesses and unnecessary healthcare by implementing bundling and supporting accountable care organizations, thereby creating “value-based purchasing,” forcing hospitals to purchase billions of dollars of electronic health-record applications that will make them more efficient and forcing insurance companies to cover preventive services for no extra cost improving everyone’s health so that they won’t need expensive healthcare before dying.
Now, what do we do with all those saved healthcare premium dollars and lower taxes?
