Klima, 67, president of Dover, Del.-based Bayhealth Inc., the parent corporation of the Bayhealth system, retired after more than three decades with the system and one of its founding hospitals. In 1980, Klima was named CEO of Kent General Hospital, Dover, which merged with Milford (Del.) Memorial Hospital in 1997 to create the Bayhealth system. In 2001, the system opened its third hospital campus, the Middletown (Del.) Medical Center. Terry Murphy succeeded Klima as Bayhealth system president and CEO after Klima was named president of Bayhealth Inc. in 2009.
