A new stamp of support for vets
One GOP Texas congressman has come up with a reason why citizens might actually want to pay more for U.S. postage stamps.
In time for Veterans Day last week, Rep. Michael Burgess, a physician, introduced the Veterans Health Care Stamp Act, which aims to provide additional funding for veteran healthcare services. As part of the act, an optional, first-class postage stamp will be available at a slightly higher cost than the typical first-class rate.
