Lil­lian Wald, the pi­o­neer of pub­lic health nurs­ing, was in­cor­rectly named a 2012 in­ductee of the Mod­ern Health­care Health Care Hall of Fame as the re­sult of a factcheck­ing er­ror. Wald, who died in 1940 at the age of 73, was in­ducted into the Hall of Fame in 1988, the first year of the pro­gram. Mod­ern Health­care re­grets the er­ror (Jan. 16, p. 14).

The Jef­fer­son Health Sys­tem, based in Rad­nor, Pa., was named to the Thom­son Reuters 15 Top Health Sys­tems list in the large health sys­tems cat­e­gory. The list, which ap­peared in the Jan. 16 is­sue (p. 30), in­cor­rectly iden­ti­fied Main Line Health, which is part of the Jef­fer­son Health Sys­tem, as the re­cip­i­ent.
