CORRECTIONS & CLARIFICATIONS
Lillian Wald, the pioneer of public health nursing, was incorrectly named a 2012 inductee of the Modern Healthcare Health Care Hall of Fame as the result of a factchecking error. Wald, who died in 1940 at the age of 73, was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1988, the first year of the program. Modern Healthcare regrets the error (Jan. 16, p. 14).
The Jefferson Health System, based in Radnor, Pa., was named to the Thomson Reuters 15 Top Health Systems list in the large health systems category. The list, which appeared in the Jan. 16 issue (p. 30), incorrectly identified Main Line Health, which is part of the Jefferson Health System, as the recipient. A corrected version of the list is available at modernhealthcare.com/data.
