MBANS could share 2,360-2,400 MHZ spec­trum band with test pi­lots. Would pro­vide in­creased spec­trum ca­pac­ity and re­li­a­bil­ity for med­i­cal man­u­fac­tur­ers. Small, low- power sen­sors on body cap­ture clin­i­cal in­for­ma­tion. A “hub” on or near the body re­ceives the data.

Fe­tal teleme­try: Small, light­weight de­vices could mon­i­tor baby’s health while mother moves freely.

Home care: Pen­dants worn at home by el­derly and chron­i­cally ill pa­tients could col­lect health in­for­ma­tion.

Pre­dic­tive and early warn­ing sys­tems: Con­tin­u­ous mon­i­tor­ing across care set­tings to pre­vent sud­den and acute de­te­ri­o­ra­tion in pa­tients.
