Senior executives at Modern Healthcare selected the 10 out of a pool of 99 nominees.
Profiles of the finalists as well as each finalist’s nomination materials are posted on Modern Healthcare’s website at modernhealthcare.com /community leader shipaward. Through Sept. 21, readers can visit modernhealthcare.com/ community vote and vote for the executive whom they feel most exemplifies the award criteria.
The voting results will count toward 50% of the determination of a winner and four honorable mentions with the other 50% controlled by Modern Healthcare. Modern Healthcare reserves the right to resolve all voting irregularities and to make the final determination of the winner and honorable mentions.
Modern Healthcare will announce and profile the winner and honorable mentions in its special section of its Nov. 19 edition. That issue was chosen because it comes out the week of the Thanksgiving holiday.
Companies and organizations can show their support for the program and the honorees by advertising in the special section. Several of the advertising options allow companies and organizations to run ads supporting their own favorite charity.
