Dr. Les­lie Hall

has been named in­terim dean of the med­i­cal school at the Univer­sity of Mis­souri, Columbia, as Dr. Robert Churchill pre­pares to re­tire from the post Oct. 31. Hall, 56, has worked as chief med­i­cal of­fi­cer of Univer­sity of Mis­souri Health Care and as se­nior as­so­ciate di­rec­tor for clin­i­cal af­fairs at the school since 2008. Since 1999, he has been on the med­i­cal staff with the health sys­tem. He has clin­i­cal ex­pe­ri­ence as a gen­eralmedicine hos­pi­tal­ist. He will re­main as CMO at the health sys­tem un­til Nov. 1. Mean­while, the sys­tem will continue a na­tional search for a per­ma­nent re­place­ment for Churchill, 66, whose de­par­ture was an­nounced in June when the med­i­cal school re­vealed a fed­eral in­quiry into po­ten­tial Medi­care billing fraud. Two ra­di­ol­o­gists left the or­ga­ni­za­tion, and fed­eral pros­e­cu­tors were con­tin­u­ing an in­ves­ti­ga­tion into whether the ra­di­ol­o­gists falsely claimed that they had per­son­ally re­viewed X-rays that had been re­viewed by med­i­cal res­i­dents.

as pres­i­dent, CEO and chief clin­i­cal in­te­gra­tion of­fi­cer of A new Care Col­lab­o­ra­tive, its ac­count­able care or­ga­ni­za­tion. In­te­grated So­lu­tions formed A new Care and the Crest Point Health in­sur­ance com­pany this year and de­scribes the ef­fort as the re­gion’s first community-based ACO. Lundquist was pre­vi­ously VP of per­for­mance mea­sure­ment and im­prove­ment at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Ten­nessee, Chat­tanooga.

Dr. Elaine Batchlor

will serve as CEO of Los Angeles’ Martin Luther King Jr. Community Hospi­tal, set to open in 2014. Batchlor, whose age wasn’t pro­vided, is chief med­i­cal of­fi­cer for L.A. Care, a Los Angeles-based pub­lic health plan, and has more than 20 years’ ex­pe­ri­ence in health­care. “Dr. Batchlor is a com­pelling leader with a proven track record of ded­i­ca­tion to this community and suc­cess­ful im­ple­men­ta­tion of in­no­va­tive health­care so­lu­tions,” Manny Abas­cal,

the hospi­tal’s board chair­man, said in a news re­lease. Batchlor is board-cer­ti­fied in in­ter­nal medicine and rheuma­tol­ogy. David Ross has left his post and that the hospi­tal has named as in­terim

James Hamill CEO, ac­cord­ing to a news re­lease. Ross, 53, is re­turn­ing to Mis­souri be­cause of fam­ily mat­ters, ac­cord­ing to the re­lease. He leaves af­ter more than two years at St. Joseph, start­ing as CEO in April 2010. He came from Barnes-Jewish St. Peters (Mo.)
