MedSyn­er­gies’ growth has come from the com­pany’s evo­lu­tion from strictly pro­vid­ing rev­enue-cy­cle man­age­ment to be­com­ing a part­ner for ma­jor health­care or­ga­ni­za­tions by pro­vid­ing physi­cian align­ment, build­ing-man­age­ment ser­vices and es­tab­lish­ing pop­u­la­tion health ini­tia­tives.

“There’s no doubt the com­pany’s growth has been driven in part by health­care re­form, but also by a solid un­der­stand­ing of the busi­ness needs re­quired by hos­pi­tals and health sys­tems to ad­dress the key stages in build­ing a new health­care de­liv­ery model,” com­pany spokes­woman Ariel Herr told Mod­ern Health­care in an e-mail.

The com­pany cur­rently serves more than 7,400 providers in the U.S., and in 2011, MedSyn­er­gies pro­cessed 11 mil­lion pa­tient vis­its through its sys­tems.
