When Sys­mex Amer­ica was named as one Mod­ern Health­care’s Best Places to Work in Health­care in 2011, com­ing in at No. 38 among medium-sized com­pa­nies and boast­ing only a 6% vol­un­tary turnover rate, one of the things em­ploy­ees said they liked best was that the com­pany had the “best cus­tomer ser­vice and prod­ucts, pro­vided by the best com­pany in the in­dus­try.” The U.S. branch of an in­ter­na­tional health­care com­pany based in Ja­pan, Sys­mex Amer­ica out­paced its Ja­panese and Euro­pean coun­ter­parts in 2012, with sales in­creas­ing 5.4% over 2011 fig­ures.

Much of the com­pany’s re­cent rev­enue growth co­in­cides with the com­pany’s es­tab­lish­ment of the “Sys­mex Way” cor­po­rate phi­los­o­phy in April 2007, which states Sys­mex’s mis­sion as “shap­ing the ad­vance­ment of health­care,” which the com­pany re­al­izes through a ded­i­ca­tion to cre­at­ing unique and in­no­va­tive val­ues and “un­sur­passed team­work.”
