Rising admissions could be good sign
Just read the article “Study finds jump in ER-related admissions” (ModernHealthcare.com, May 20). Actually, this could be a good sign, that the ER is being used more appropriately for things that need admission. This might mean more people are being seen in urgent care, by nurse practitioners in community outposts, and doctor visits within the system.
