Dr. Dan Roth chief med­i­cal of­fi­cer. For the past two years, Roth, 43, has served as pres­i­dent of Mercy Health Physi­cians, and he will con­tinue in that ca­pac­ity along with his new role. He re­places Dr. Leonard Ran­dolph Jr., who spent eight years as CMO and will move on to a new role with CHP where he will aid the 23-hos­pi­tal sys­tem in im­prov­ing and stream­lin­ing the cre­den­tial­ing process. Roth is cred­ited with ex­pand­ing Mercy Health Physi­cians, a physi­cian-led group that serves south­west Ohio. The or­ga­ni­za­tion earned the No. 1 spot last year on Health­care’s Hottest, Mod­ern Health­care’s list of the fast-grow­ing com­pa­nies in the in­dus­try. …

David Rothen­berger will join Health Man­age­ment As­so­ciates’ Arkansas op­er­a­tions as CFO for Sparks Health Sys­tem in Fort Smith, Ark., and Sum­mit Med­i­cal Cen­ter in Van Buren, Ark. Rothen­berger, 50, pre­vi­ously was the com­pany’s Arkansas mar­ket CFO be­fore serv­ing as HMA’s di­vi­sion CFO for hos­pi­tals in Texas, Ok­la­homa, Mis­souri, Ten­nessee and Wash­ing­ton. At Sparks and Sum­mit, he re­places who was Richard Boone, pro­moted in April to over­see op­er­a­tions and fi­nance for the com­pany’s South­ern and Western Group.

Wal­lace, 44, joins the Fort Laud­erdale-based com­pany with more than two decades of fi­nan­cial ex­ec­u­tive ex­pe­ri­ence in ar­eas that in­clude health­care, soft­ware de­vel­op­ment and in­ter­ac­tive mar­ket­ing. Most re­cently, he served as CFO of Mar­gate, Fla., mar­ket­ing com­pany Ele­phant Group and Ra­di­ol­ogy Corp. of Amer­ica in Boca Ra­ton, Fla.
