Oliver Rogers has been named COO at physician-outsourcing firm TeamHealth.
Rogers, 61, has served as TeamHealth’s president of hospital-based services since February 2010 and has more than a decade of experience with the company.
The move comes two weeks after TeamHealth, one of the largest providers of emergency medicine physicians, anesthesiologists and hospitalists in the country, officially named Michael Snow CEO. The company has aggressively expanded since Snow took the helm. Since Sept. 2, it has acquired five physician practices and now has more than 10,200 affiliated physicians and providers at 900 hospitals, clinics and physician groups in 46 states.
