Children’s Hospital Colorado in Aurora Jena Hausmann has named as its permanent CEO.
Hausmann, 44, has been interim CEO at Children’s since January, while also serving as president and COO. She will retain the president’s title. She joined the hospital in 2004 as VP of strategic planning and network of care operations. She was promoted to COO in 2008 and president in 2011.
Before coming to Children’s Hospital, Hausmann worked in senior management at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis. She also was an administrative fellow at Fairview Health System in the Twin Cities. Dr. Jack Handley
has been named chief medical officer at EvergreenHealth Monroe (Wash.) Hospital.
Handley, 50, has been a physician in the 72-bed hospital’s emergency department for the past 16 years. Valley General Hospital was renamed EvergreenHealth Monroe when it became a part of the Kirkland, Wash.-based
