Todd Lup­ton has been named CFO for Mercy Health-Cincinnati. The move was ef­fec­tive June 22.

Be­fore join­ing Mercy, Lup­ton, 52, was a part­ner with Tril­ogy Healthcare So­lu­tions, a con­sult­ing and man­age­ment ser­vices firm based in Madi­son, Miss. Pre­vi­ously, he was mar­ket CEO for River Oaks Health Sys­tem, Jack­son, Miss.

Robert Marm­er­stein has been named COO of Main­land Med­i­cal Cen­ter, Texas City, Texas. The move was ef­fec­tive in June. Main­land, an af­fil­i­ate of Nashville-based HCA, is a cam­pus of HCA’s Clear Lake Re­gional Med­i­cal Cen­ter in Web­ster, Texas.

Marm­er­stein comes to the hos­pi­tal from Lewis Gale Med­i­cal Cen­ter in Salem, Va., where he served as as­so­ciate COO. He also served as a found­ing part­ner and board mem­ber of the Roanoke Health Care Al­liance, a part­ner­ship of lo­cal providers in Vir­ginia’s Roanoke Val­ley that col­lab­o­rated to pro­vide ed­u­ca­tion and re­sources to help lo­cal fam­i­lies nav­i­gate the healthcare sys­tem.

Nick Mendyka has been named CFO for hos­pi­tal and clin­ics oper­a­tions at the Univer­sity of Vir­ginia Med­i­cal Cen­ter, Char­lottesville.

Mendyka, 33, served in the role on an in­terim ba­sis for the past nine months. He joined the univer­sity’s health sys­tem in Novem­ber 2012 as part of the Strat­egy Im­ple­men­ta­tion Of­fice, where he pro­vided strate­gic and busi­ness plan­ning sup­port and helped guide the de­vel­op­ment of cen­ters of ex­cel­lence and hos­pi­tal ex­pan­sion plans.

Pre­vi­ously, Mendyka worked with Aetna in provider net­work man­age­ment and con­tract ne­go­ti­a­tions.
