Terry Carroll has left his position as chief innovation officer at Dartmouth-Hitchcock in Lebanon, N.H., to “pursue other interests,” a spokesman said. Carroll’s responsibilities included information security, new business development, medical informatics and clinical use of data. His departure comes as Dartmouth-Hitchcock prepares to implement Epic Systems Corp.’s billing and scheduling software. Dr. Peter Solberg
has been named the system’s chief medical information officer, taking Carroll’s place, and has been working on the Epic implementation.
Carroll came to Dartmouth in September 2013 after serving as VP of transformation and CIO at Fairview Health Services in Minneapolis.

Jones, 47, joins the Baltimore-based system after serving as chief of staff to speaker Michael Busch of the Maryland House of Delegates. She will begin in the newly created position Oct. 19 and will be responsible for project management, network development and coordination and government relations.
Before being named chief of staff in 2005, Jones was counsel to the state’s House Economic Matters Committee, focusing on healthcare and insurance issues. Her other legislative work includes experience in healthcare, budget, education and transportation.
