Cel­e­brat­ing the best in health­care mar­ket­ing


Mod­ern Health­care and Ad­ver­tis­ing Age have long re­ported on the most im­por­tant and ex­cit­ing trends in health­care and mar­ket­ing, re­spec­tively. Last year, for the first time, we part­nered to honor the best in mar­ket­ing/ad­ver­tis­ing cre­ativ­ity and in­no­va­tion hap­pen­ing through col­lab­o­ra­tive ef­forts in our in­dus­tries.

Once again, the Health­care Mar­ket­ing IM­PACT Awards cel­e­brate the ex­cit­ing work be­ing done to cre­ate and im­ple­ment eth­i­cal mes­sag­ing in health­care. The awards rec­og­nize the industry’s best ad­ver­tis­ing, mar­ket­ing, pro­mo­tional and communications cam­paigns across all me­dia plat­forms. They spot­light work that ad­vances the mis­sion of provider, in­surer, phar­ma­ceu­ti­cal and sup­plier or­ga­ni­za­tions as well as ed­u­ca­tional and ad­vo­cacy groups in their ef­forts to de­liver high-qual­ity, af­ford­able and ac­ces­si­ble health­care; pro­mote the health of in­di­vid­ual pa­tients, groups and com­mu­ni­ties; and help or­ga­ni­za­tions thrive and grow in to­day’s rapidly chang­ing health­care en­vi­ron­ment.

This year we are thrilled to honor Ge­orge Halvor­son, former chair­man and CEO of Kaiser Per­ma­nente, pre­sent­ing him with the IM­PACT Vi­sion­ary Award. Un­der Halvor­son’s lead­er­ship, Kaiser be­came a na­tion­ally and glob­ally rec­og­nized leader in qual­ity and a model for the best of the best in health­care. His vi­sion and pas­sion for a bet­ter health­care sys­tem for all—from tar­get­ing health­care dis­par­i­ties to im­prov­ing di­ver­sity in the work­place, to pro­mot­ing well­ness and early child­hood ed­u­ca­tion, com­bined with a laser fo­cus on ef­fec­tive com­mu­ni­ca­tion—en­abled him to make last­ing con­tri­bu­tions not only to Kaiser’s staff, its pa­tients and their fam­i­lies, but to the en­tire industry.

Con­grat­u­la­tions to all of our win­ners for their stand­out work to help health­care or­ga­ni­za­tions ad­vance their mis­sion. We also thank the tremen­dously ta­lented mem­bers of our judg­ing panel for of­fer­ing their time and per­spec­tive to help us choose this year’s win­ners.
