We all need to be prepared, but can’t let fear rule us
The San Bernardino, Calif., attack awoke all of us here in the U.S.A. to realize that terrorism will be a threat every day, everywhere. We must not live in fear, but now must think about how to personally and professionally prepare should this happen in our communities. Yes, hospitals, schools, government officials and buildings have a “disaster plan” in place. Do each of us have one on the job and at home? As has been said, “There is a price for our freedom.” However, fear should not dominate.
