Dale Maxwell will become interim CEO at Albuquerque-based Presbyterian Healthcare Services when current president and CEO James Hinton leaves to become chief executive at Dallas-based Baylor Scott & White Health in January 2017.
Maxwell, 51, is executive VP and chief administrative officer at Presbyterian. He joined the system in 2000 and has held a number of leadership roles, including CFO.
Linda White will retire as president and CEO of Evansville, Ind.-based Deaconess Health System effective next June after 15 years in the roles. Shawn McCoy, the system’s executive VP and chief administrative officer, will become CEO. Dr. James
Porter, the system’s executive VP of physician enterprise and CMO, will become president.
White’s previous leadership roles within the system include VP of nursing, VP of patient care and COO. She also served as president of Deaconess Hospital.
