Dr. Ran­dall Lin­ton is re­tir­ing as pres­i­dent and CEO of the north­west Wis­con­sin re­gion of Mayo Clinic Health System at the end of April. Dr. Richard

Helmers will take on Lin­ton’s du­ties, but his ti­tle will be re­gional VP.

Lin­ton, a pe­di­a­tri­cian, served as CEO for 15 years. Dur­ing his ten­ure, he led the im­ple­men­ta­tion of the Mayo Model of Com­mu­nity Care to im­prove qual­ity and cost ef­fec­tive­ness of com­mu­ni­ty­based care. He also helped es­tab­lish the new Mayo Clinic Fam­ily Medicine Res­i­dency Pro­gram to train pri­ma­rycare physi­cians in north­west Wis­con­sin.

Madelyn Pear­son has been named se­nior VP of pa­tient­care ser­vices and chief nurs­ing of­fi­cer of Brigham and Women’s Hospi­tal, Bos­ton, ef­fec­tive June 12. She suc­ceeds Lisa

Mor­ris­sey, who has been in­terim CNO since Oc­to­ber 2016.

Pear­son cur­rently serves as re­gional se­nior VP of pa­tient-care ser­vices and CNO for Mount Si­nai Health System in New York City. She also co-chairs the nurs­ing qual­ity lead­er­ship coun­cil for Mount Si­nai. Pre­vi­ously she was se­nior VP of pa­tient-care ser­vices and CNO at En­gle­wood (N.J.) Hospi­tal and Med­i­cal Cen­ter.
