It’s wonderful to learn about ways to improve lives of dementia patients

Modern Healthcare - - COMMENT -

Regarding the July 31 Outliers item “Communist-era kitsch comforts dementia patients in former East Germany” (p. 36), anything that can improve the lives of patients stricken with Alzheimer’s disease is wonderful. Clinically getting them connected to various activities has been shown to help, especially if it should bring back any memories.
